Nano Banana 2 Plugin for Photoshop

This plugin now supports the new Nano Banana 2 model, which gives better results, improved text quality, and high-resolution images up to 4K. Nano Banana 2 is available only on the paid plan or if you have enabled the 3-month trial.

The plugin lets you generate and edit images in Photoshop using Google’s Nano Banana image model. You can use it for free without buying credits. You only need a free Gemini API key from Google and paste it into the plugin. The free plan already offers good usage limits.

If you need more usage, you can add a payment method to your Google account and get a free trial with $300 in credits. Google will not charge you unless you upgrade to a paid plan or go beyond the free limits. You can check your usage anytime in your Google account. At the moment, adding a payment method is required even to use the free tier. If you see an “exceeded quota” message, set up billing after creating your API key.

For Photoshop versions below 24.4, if the generated images do not match your original image, the clipboard may be causing the issue. Close any clipboard-related software, including Word or PowerPoint, and reload the plugin.

You can upload extra reference images, add the result as a new layer or edit the original layer, and easily soften edges to blend the result with the original image. The plugin also includes a collection of tested prompts for different image tasks, which you can edit, import, or export.
